Professionally, I consider myself first and foremost a storyteller. It's my passion to understand as much as I can about what the story is, and help figure out the most exciting and creative way to tell it. In my world that's usually something live (like a tradeshow, a corporate meeting, a mobile tour), but I dabble in the digital world (virtual events, videos, augmented reality) as well. I have years of experience as both a project manager and an account executive, which means I speak both production and sales languages, which makes me a better communicator both inside the building with my team and outside amongst the customers. I'm often asked how I got into the industry, and I tell people I stumbled into it, which is true, I started in this industry 2 days after graduation and never left. But I realize now that I was always headed this direction, I just didn't know the name of the destination. Because even as I kid I just knew I was "a people person". And what's more people oriented than marketing, live events, and branding?
