Hello, my name is Brandy Carley. I am a senior at Arizona State University, graduating in May of 2022. I am receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Food Systems. I possess a dedicated work ethic with strong moral integrity. I am intuitive, observant of my surroundings, and participate in perpetual mindfulness. My notable strengths are effective communication and efficiency when working in a collaborative environment. I am creative and passionate about my journey in redesigning and reconnecting our local food system with our residents here in Arizona. My interests include mental and physical health, nutrition, meditation, energy work, frequency, botany, and mycology. I believe that food can be medicine, and the key to enriching our lives through our diets is connecting with and supporting our local organic farmers. I have experience operating a CSA pick-up site and tabling at local farmers' markets. I have an affinity with plants and animals, allowing me to thrive in any working environment, incorporating one or both of these aspects into my work within the local food system. I ask myself every day what I have done to enrich the lives of others and live by the idea that a person can never learn too much. You can reach out to me through the Linkedin messaging platform or at my email Bmcarley@asu.edu.
