I am a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course and the University of North Texas seeking an editorial position in the publishing industry. My training at Columbia University—coupled with my creative writing degree and certificate in game studies and design—gives me confidence that I am an invaluable asset to any publishing team.Fine arts–inclined, I have always been an oddball in sports-crazed Texas. Although I played sports growing up, what I loved most was expressing myself creatively through music, theater, and creative writing. I graduated with honors from the University of North Texas, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and a certificate in game studies and design. Additionally, I graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course, where I was educated on all aspects of book, magazine, and digital media publishing.
