Straight out of college September 1, 1987 Mark joins a young startup computer company by the name of Compaq Computer Corporation...it simply works better said Rod Canion our CEO at the time. Mark worked in manufacturing as an inline debug technician troubleshooting all types of boards. Next Mark worked in Compaq's technical support from 1993 til 1996 working the front lines answering and helping customers, dealears, and resellers install, setup, configure, fix or escalate technical problems with desktops, tower pc's, also helped install 3rd party boards like, token ring nics, soundblaster cards etc.. Next Mark received his Microsoft certifications on severals OS's, and joined the systems engineering team ECG enterprise computing group in Oct of 1996. Mark was in several diffrent groups under this organization for the next 12 years. Mark was a engineer testing new smart array controllers on all Compaq servers from system pro all the way up to proliant servers. In this group we did all the functional testing of controller drivers following test plans that we also wrote for these controllers. We tested all functional cababilities of the smart array controllers plus any new feautures that were added functionality, speed, etc. Tested I/O from controller to harddrive and vice-versa, and all components that went around it. Configured raid levels from R0, R1, R5, and RADG6 from our Orca setup or F10 setup utilities. Other components tested around it were smartstart, fw maintenace cd's, and newly developed components for that controller. Mark joined SCI- Scalabe Computing Infrastructure group in 2007-2009. In this group we catered specifically to all the major datacenters ranging from, MSN, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Myspace, and Western Gico, and several more.We put together solutions for these datacenters.22 years at HP and now decided to start my own health and fitness business. http://www.BMCNutrition.comOnline supplements at wholesale distributor prices.
