This included the development, testing and support of:• A user friendly site where users can create, submit and track forms sent for approval.• Create custom InfoPath forms and web parts.• Develop complex workflows to automate the approval process of forms.• Dashboards for tracking and viewing approval process.• Creation of custom views and fields to support reporting.• Technical documentation and Visio diagrams of the solution.• Training documents and videos.• Online training sessions to the various teams around the world via Lync.• Providing day to day email and phone support to users.• Monitored site usage and performance and liaised with the SharePoint support team on any server issues that arose throughout the lifetime of the contract.I also liaised with, both the on shore and offshore members of this project about any queries or issues and gave constant status updates as the project progressed.

    Main duties included designing and programming products for punching, folding & laser CNC machines.As part of a team I had to ensure that stock levels were maintained and that the machines ran smoothly 24/7, which required me to be on call.I updated and streamlined old CAD drawings, production sheets and process tasks to keep up to date with the current ISO standard.I physically installed an Ethernet network to enable easier sharing of CAD/CAM files between PC's and network control of the factory machines.I also expanded this network into the other companies within the Excel group. I installed and maintained a central server to enable employees to collaborate better and share printers etc. thus reducing hardware, paper & ink costs.I introduced a proxy server that allowed sharing and managing a ISDN (and later broadband) connection thus opening the use of email and the internet to all employees that required it, were beforehand multiple 56k dial up connections were being used. I also continued to provide all the PC and network support, installation and management of software and its licensing for the Excel Group.
