He is currently the founder of Flexhire - a marketplace of on-demand, global, pre-screened freelancers. The Flexhire platform enables customers to hire pre-screened freelance engineering talent faster and to manage their existing freelance talent efficiently at scale, streamlining timesheet management and invoice processing. Customers range from top venture backed startups such as Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop to Fortune 500 customers like PepsiCo and Pearson.Previously he was global CIO/CTO of Standard Industries - world's largest roofing manufacturer overseeing all technology strategy and implementation and managing a team of 600. Prior to Standard, he was Global Head of Digital Innovation for PepsiCo's Ecommerce division leading tech strategy as part of the team that helped grow that division from scratch to over $1bn in annual sales. Prior to PepsiCo, he was SVP of Customer Experience, Technology for JCPenney responsible for all in store and online digital experiences including the $1bn+ ecommerce platform. Earlier in his career he was CEO of Motive, a New York and Dublin, Ireland startup focused in Augmented Reality.Brian holds a masters degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland where he was a foundation scholar and gold medalist. He is a former member of the Fedex Ecommerce board of directors, a current member of the Ireland-US Council and a board member of the MIT Digital Currency Initiative. He lives in New York.
