I am a GIS professional (Masters of Geographic Information Technology) with an MBA, 20 years software and project leadership experience, and strong understanding of today’s technologies. I possess a mix of learning and processing styles well suited to GIS. The ability to see the bigger picture and embrace alternative views provides a greater understanding of how things fit together, how things are used, and where there might be patterns, strengths or weaknesses. Conceptual (theory), practical (detail), and logical (analytical) thinking are all strengths that I can apply to real-world situations. The ability of Geographic Information Systems to view data in a variety of ways, at a variety of levels of detail, supports working with any of these thought techniques. Likewise, each of these thought techniques can make use of GIS capabilities to work through real-world problems. I am currently looking for an opportunity to use these skills as a GIS analyst or in a similar position.
