Originally hired to plan and manage inventory for key categories. Later recruited as a merchant (concurrent with inventory duties) for the Watch business to lead the re-launch of the category, resulting in 2-3x sales increases with none of the inventory risk.

PO creation and management for Men's Suiting and Kid's Wear. Planned store level distributions, communicated with stores on stock concerns, and advised merchants on selling strategy.

Planned inventory for the Jewelry & Watches departments. Forecasted inventory needs and managed supplier bids for those needs. Constantly collaborated with the warehouse on qa issues, ring building schedules, and receipt management.

Supervised team of 6 Special Order book buyers. Provided operations support for the department and worked closely with IT personnel on systems development.

Managed segment of the largest publishers in the group. Maintained department's ordering systems in UNIX environment. Special projects as assigned.
