After earning a degree in Chemical Engineering at The City College of New York, I was hired as a data analyst at a mid-sized appliance manufacturing company. As a data analyst, I developed small-scale ETL pipelines, wrote general business reports, and prepared data for the NetSuite ERP migration. Wanting a hands-on role closer to "engineering", I became a quality control technician. Today, I inspect and test appliances and distribute supplies that are used in product assembly. In addition, I internally audit the company's adherence to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and identify areas of non-conformance. Afterward, I prepare audit reports and communicate audit results to management. As of now, I am looking for a full-time Mechanical (MEP/HVAC) Engineer position. This year, I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and received my Intern Engineer certificate from the NYS Education Department. Wanting to break into the HVAC consulting domain, I enrolled in AECLearn's "HVAC Fundamentals and HVAC System Design" course. With my academic background in chemical engineering and the knowledge acquired in AECLearn's course, I can deliver satisfactory results and have a positive impact on society. I have an intense drive to learn new things and pay close attention to detail. I can operate both independently and closely with team members in a collaborative atmosphere. All in all, I am a strong candidate because of my technical background, ability to think creatively, and enthusiasm for problem-solving.
