CMC leader and scientist in the Process Chemistry department at Gilead Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company in the San Francisco bay area. Relevant experience includes early and late stage API development, regulatory filings, Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DOE), Design Space, kilo lab and pilot plant GMP operations, and people management.Former postdoctoral fellow of the American Cancer Society in synthetic organic chemistry at Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Barry M. Trost, where I developed several transition metal catalyzed transformations, as well as two total syntheses.Doctoral training was accomplished at the University of Texas at Austin under the direction of Prof. Stephen F. Martin.
