Eighteen years of medical-legal activity and experience in the areas of Forensic Pathology (with performance of Medical-Legal Autopsies) and Forensic Medicine (with evaluation of victims in the scope of Criminal, Civil, Labor and Administrative Law) and elaboration of the respective expert reports. Since 2007 integrates the Urgency Department of the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, to examine the crime scene and victims in cases of sexual abuse. Also, participates in the medical board regarding work accidents at Portugal General Insurance in Lisbon and the Courts of the districts where he works. Additionally, has knowledge in presenting to court (or by videoconference), to provide clarification as a medical expert, in cases where this is necessary.
