I am a passionate advocate for social justice, holistic healing, and the psychological well-being of Black communities, particularly Black women. With a 3.87 GPA in Psychology from Hampton University, my work merges decolonial psychology, art, and holistic healing practices. I've led and mentored in organizations like Collective Rising for Reproductive Justice and the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, facilitated classrooms and designed workshops that explore topics such as power, identity, privilege, sexual education, and oppression, and enhanced exhibits on African art at the Chrysler Museum of Art. My research focuses on promoting Black holistic well-being, including Photovoice studies on misogynoir and Black women's safety in reporting sexual assault at college campuses. I actively participated in Hampton University's LGBTQ+ club as an executive board member and Generation Action Club, advocating for reproductive justice and LGBTQ+ initiatives. As a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and member of the Association of Black Psychologists Student Circle, Black Feminist Future, and the Society for Community Research and Action, I am committed to social justice and community empowerment.
