In charge of the IT Infrastructure for the MTS/OTS Group. As a team we manage the Datacenters, Networks and Tools infrastructures in order to improve redundancy and availability of Network, Storage and Computing. Building Hybrid Architectures connecting our Datacenter with public Cloud providers (AWS)

My key responsibilities include the following among others:▪ Data Management.▪ Participate in the definition of the IT strategy.▪ Supervising the IT architecture for the different projects and components. ▪ Participate in the definition of the infrastructure for future projects and the established IT strategies roadmaps. ▪ Work close to Development: To be sure that they fit the defined architecture, identifying new architectural needs and proposing solutions. ▪ Work close to Systems: To be sure that everything is implanted as defined and expected. ▪ Work closely with Business: Predicting and planning capacity in advanced. ▪ Certify and evaluate any change in the IT architecture & infrastructure. ▪ Control and follow up the cost of the different Transaction Types.▪ Monitor industry trends and client and competitor activity. ▪ Analysis of possible integrations with 3rd party IT providers.

I was participating in the confection of Strategy plans for resource management and departments, Infrastructure, Capacity plans, IT Architecture, IT Costs and budget, Service management, Project management, negotiating contracts with vendors, …I was in charge of managing the following departments: IT Operations, IT Helpdesk, Software Development, Software Maintenance and Customer Support.Some of the most relevant projects were:▪ Consolidating Scrum Development processes (the never ending process).▪ Redefining the data delivery to BI. New concept and architecture: "Delivery based on business events" (and forget about batch extractions)▪ Migration of the Data Center with zero outage in any B2B and 24/7 service.▪ IT Helpdesk reorganization: From 6 days average for closing incidences to 1 day average.▪ Migration from Exchange to Cloud365 in all Offices of Spain. ▪ Migration from Windows XP to Windows 7 in Spain and Portugal.▪ Participating with the integrations of new Offices based in Malta, Cyprus, Egypt and Bulgaria as new members of the MTS/OTS Group

In charge of the Software Development teams (Middleware, Backend and Database). During this period I became a ScrumMaster and together with other 2 scrum master we implemented Scrum/Agile development into the company.I defined as well the physical architecture for hosting the B2B services providing scalability, redundancy and high availability achieving no outages during a transactional peak season since January 2013

Responsible of the Oracle database strategy, architecture definition, licensing and developments.Main achievements:▪ Creating a new database department and team.▪ Migrating from SQLServer to Oracle Database of the Online Booking Calculation's engine database of the company.▪ Defining and implementing all the database development and design procedures, code standards, release and deployment procedures and infrastructure.▪ Defining, configuring and implementing all database environments (development, testing, production). Backup & recovery procedures and monitoring systems.▪ Designing and implementing the main database for the new IT Tourism Solution platform (backend and B2B).▪ Implementing a new contracting tool database offline/online with automatic synchronization using Oracle Mobile Server and Oracle Lite database. ▪ Migrating from Oracle standalone to Oracle RAC.▪ Providing a 99,95% of yearly database availability in a 24x7 production environment since 2010.

▪ Analysis and Development in Natural, Adabas and JCL of different transactional and batch applications for different departments of the Bank: Insurances, Rate Exchange, International accounts, etc.
