I am an acquisitions editor for Human Kinetics, a publishing company with a focus on physical activity, health, and fitness. I oversee the physical therapy, athletic training, biomechanics, and anatomy & physiology textbook development for undergraduate and graduate level curriculum. I also serve as a physical therapy subject matter expert (SME). I author continuing education courses for rehabilitation therapists, nurses, and non-clinical staff. My clinical experience covers a broad range of diagnoses, including surgical and general orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, neurological conditions with a special interest in Parkinson's disease, pregnancy and post-partum, and breast cancer. I have achieved the Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and hold a certification in the LSVT Big treatment protocol for Parkinson’s disease. I am a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCI) and resident mentor for orthopedic residents. In the community, I have provided educational outreach programs, including stroke education courses at local hospitals and ergonomic education classes for a bicycling club.
