As the original architect of the platform, I have been involved in every major decision of the design and development of this global construction management service. The platform heavily utilized AWS cloud services, tightly integrated with our REST API, to provide a stable, global service. As the company grew, my responsibilities expanded, transitioning from the sole back-end developer, to a team leader. This new role entailed balancing production resources with business requirements, while also continuing to manage the cloud infrastructure, and database architecture.
