Assemble raw materials for preparing, mixing, measuring and cooking crude resources Manage automated methods and temperatures for manufacturing products Fastening metal, plastics or other fixtures or cutouts where necessary and attaching straps and linings to products where required Assess the quality of readymade commodity and record accurate outcomes at specific times of the production operations Execute and manage machines, carry out inspections and packing of finished products Maintain a neat and sterile plant processing environment Operate machines in the process of producing commodities Examine the diverse products and other commodities Observe completion time and gather portions of products Evaluate samples of products and the operating machines for packaging Perform finishing functions such as treatments and spraying of products as necessary

Serves meals to customers (students, faculty, staff and guests): ensures proper portion size notifies cook of refill needs grills or deep fries foods refills items as needed cleans spills, maintains a neat and visually pleasing line sweeps and mops as needed cleans slicer and mixer when used steams bakes*Assists in food preparation for meals: slices meat and cheese prepares salads for the salad bar/deli bar prepares dessert and fruits cleans work area and special equipment* Washes tables and cleans dining room as directed.* Temperature logs* Maintains cleanliness of reach in and ensures products are kept at 40 degrees or below* Cleans kitchen equipment used* Adheres to standards outlined by sanitation program, and local, state and federal guidelines * Performs other job related duties as assigned or directed* Works w/and assists in training of student staff to ensure proper setup and breakdown procedures are followed
