Graduated from Ball State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development (BUPD) degree and a minor in sustainability. During my tenure at Ball State, I had the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of students and professionals in all types of planning and other related fields. I also had the amazing experience of helping start a development company, RED LLC, with a team of planning students. I began my career in municipal financial services related to economic development focusing on financial incentives and economic development planning at Cender|Dalton. Also gained a background in municipal finance related to budgeting, tax rates, utility rate studies, bond issuance and accounting services. Then went to do the same work at a national engineering company, SEH. The exposure there assisted in being able to apply my services to engineering and other capital projects. I'm currently employed by JLL and manage economic development projects for the BNSF railway which includes new track developments for new customers, expanding services for existing customers, track leases and other items that increase the growth and rail services provided by BNSF. I am a member of Leadership Northwest Indiana (LNI), Class 37, the Traffic Club of Chicago, the Illinois Economic Development Association and a licensed property assessor for the state of Indiana.
