I am a self proclaimed marketing nerd and have continued to be a student of the industry since my official academic schooling on the subject. Yes, I am more likely to ask for permission than forgiveness, and while my rebel heart has been tamed (mostly), I deeply enjoy offering input through ideation and creative solutions. I can become quite productive in a variety of roles and organizations and even industries. I attribute this to my passion for excellence, ability to learn quickly, and a love for "the details". Throughout my academic and professional careers I have held several leadership roles. I do not shy away from responsibility and driving results. Many who have worked with me in the past would not be surprised to know that I score high on a "StrengthsFinder" in Harmony. I can create buy-in, establish common goals, and lead in a non abrasive style that gets results. I have had the privilege to experience multiple roles across several industries including Digital Marketing, Hospitality, and even Manufacturing to name a few. I'm grateful for the lessons gleaned and how each of my roles have pushed me to become a faster implementer, a resilient learner, and more disciplined intrapreneur. In short, I live life by the Motto, "You can only coast downhill." I believe that the motto can be applied to one's personal life just as much as business and look for opportunities to prevent coasting and pursue excellence in everything I do.
