With a career in Department of Defense (DoD) finance gained from my previous roles with the North Carolina Army National Guard and National Guard Bureau (NGB), I bring a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies and demands of the federal government financial sector to my current position at EY. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to work in the financial arena of intercollegiate athletics, further enhancing my financial acumen.At the core of my professional approach, I prioritize continuous improvement, striving to identify and implement efficiencies that drive results. During my tenure at the United States Property & Fiscal Office of North Carolina (USPFO-NC) and the NGB, I actively pursued professional development, obtaining/completing my Defense Financial Management Certification Level 2 (DFMC2) and the Army Comptroller Course. As I progress in my career at EY, I have set my sights on achieving my Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification to further expand my knowledge and expertise.Currently, I am providing professional services in support of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management & Comptroller), specifically as an advisor to their Audit Acceleration Team.
