Key responsibilities: • the assembling of key services to be provided by CEU InnovationsLab• the organization of CEU InnovationsLab• recruiting of operations assistants• encourage involvement in the activities in CEU InnovationsLab by all relevant constituencies at CEU Business School, including faculty, students and alumni• work with and encourage the involvement of complementary universities in Budapest, the region and beyond, especially universities that can bring to CEU InnovationsLab a technology and design pipeline• interact with and become involved with the relevant entrepreneurial and business communities in Budapest, the region and beyond• planning for CEU InnovationsLab• Actively contribute to the field of entrepreneurship and innovation by publishing journal articles and conference proceedings, being involved in other funded academic entrepreneurship grants, etc.

Key Responsibilities:• New tenant identification and recruitment to the Startup Business Incubators (BEST, 160 Varick Street Incubator and NYC ACRE cleantech business incubator)• Review/evaluate all tenant activities as per their projected task plans and budgets for renewal decisions. • Continuous identification, analysis and selection of new support services (legal, marketing, sales, capital investment, etc)• Identification and interface with advisory board, recruiting / interface with technical and business professionals for tenant activities. • Coordination of the Incubators activities with the University's overall vision and mission of Invention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I2E)• Engage University faculty and students in the Incubators events and activities. • Manage the Time Warner Cable sponsored Student Innovation and Idea Competition (Inno/Vention).Accomplishments:• Helped launch Varick Street Incubator and NYC ACRE for Polytechnic Institute of NYU • Recruited 27 incubator tenants in internet software and services• Helped startups attract $12M in early stage capital resulting in 125 new jobs • Led day-to-day operations and grew to scale 16,500 square foot facility as part of New York City’s Five Borough Economic Opportunity Plan• Cultivated over 25 international partnerships including Economic Development Agencies from the Netherlands, China, Israel, the UK and Germany resulting in new collaborative research model
