I am currently holding a position as Software Engineer/Developer and DevOps with main tasks the design and development for whole systems, software applications (Web, Apps & Desktop) and APIs as a developer and team coordinator. My tasks also include the well-functioning of IT and networks infrastructure, the development and implementation of IT policies and the supervision of procurement and subcontracting for IT equipment (Hardware/Software) and supervision and daily IT support.With 15+ years’ experience, I gained experience in Software Engineering and Development, Data Management Systems and Analysis as well as in IT Management. I worked with different kind of people on several companies either as colleagues or external partners and I could say that we always manage to find our way through and complete each task successfully.I hold a Bachelor’s degree BEng in Control and Computer Systems Engineering, from the University of Westminster in London, as well as an MSc in Computer Systems & Networks, from South Bank University in London. At the same time, I worked at several companies, in London area and since 2006 I hold my current position.Over the years, I gained experience in writing code for backend needs, as well as for the business logic and the front-end of an application, required Web services and Web APIs to cover the desire requirements.My involvement on several projects consist of the development of the appropriate services, integration of different systems, the database structure, architecture and design and data analysis for the development of the appropriate goal on each project.My programming and databases skills contain development and management of RDBMS in SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and development and usage in C#, .NET/.NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web Services, SOAP/REST, Web API, Transact SQL, SQL Spatial, Angular, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Material, Java, PHP, Google Maps/Charts API, Leaflet, Bing Maps API, Share Point, Java, PHP as well as thorough knowledge on DotNetNuke CMS.I think of myself, as easily fit, goal-oriented, team player and easy learner with the ability to provide new ideas and solutions whenever it is necessary.
