Reporting to the manager of software development, I am responsible for making architectural decisions and implementation. I work as part of the operations team providing internal and external facing solutions for data reporting, process management, and data collection for market research.I have also been creating new methods of data collection beyond our providers default set of tools. This work has been enabled by plugging in jQuery and jQueryUI into our data collection engine's rendered pages.

I have worked on web applications of varying complexity with team sizes ranging from 1 to 5 people. My focus has been using and integrating .NET 2.0 and SharePoint 2007 solutions using SQL Server 2005 databases. The applications have been used by 25 to 500 member teams.

An IT consulting company where we developed custom software to meet the unique needs of each of our clients. Most of our projects centered around a large amount of data stored in a database accompanied with a Windows front end to help manage and utilize the data.

I Worked with R&D team to test new network hardware. Furthermore, I was responsible for updating our test engine to meet our expanding testing needs.This position required me to write extensive unit tests against the .NET framework.

My work at the Beckman Laser Institute centered around two main projects. The first project was a graphical user interface that was used on top of an existing data fitting scheme that had been developed in the lab. Both the fitting algorithm and UI were done using MATLAB (versions 5.3, and 6+). My other project for this team was a real-time data acquisition module that worked in conjunction with existing data-acquisition software created in house for use with the Laser Breast Scanner (they did a lot of research on non-invasive cancer detection in tissues). This project is currently being utilized by one of the postdoctoral researchers at the institute to further their own research.

Worked on three game development projects. I helped in establishing the basis for the games as well as how the game would be played and other requirements for the games. As the project progressed, I lead a small team of engineers in designing, implementing, and testing the games.
