As my fresh start it was a great learning experience working at i2c Pakistan. i2c is an emerging name in international payment card industry. I enjoyed working in one of software giants of Pakistan and got chance looking into processes of payment card system. I worked under the competency of Service Delivery and Incident management team and actively worked on monitoring and reporting of the system using Nagios and Xymon. I also deployed DB and bash scripts to run on application and DB servers for case specific monitoring. Assigning severity level to the issues and routing to the right engineering team was also part of my job routine. In case of high severity issues engaging relevant team, opening conferences, getting issue resolved and then preparing incident report was my key tasks.
