Created an ArcGIS workflow to manually convert MGS 24k geologic maps to the USGS GeMS standard. Created GeMS conversion documentation for future workflow automation. Published a document describing a site of geologic interest for the general public.

Taught and developed curriculum for K-12 environmental education in the classroom and the field. Recruited volunteers for several District events. Coordinated outreach efforts to community partners and the general public. Installed and maintained gardens to promote community agriculture. Assisted with technical projects.

Deployed magnetotelluric instrumentation across the Northern Great Plains and Rocky Mountains to investigate deep continental structure. Processed data and maintained field equipment. Worked with landowners and secured permits for station installation.

•Collected structural and stratigraphic data on Saddleback Wind Mountain, part of a deformed Devonian sedimentary basin in the Maine Appalachians.•Used drone photography, ArcGIS, and Adobe Illustrator to produce large-scale and small-scale geologic maps of Saddleback Wind Mountain.•Collected and processed samples for thin section analysis, XRF spectrometry, and detrital zircon geochronology to better elucidate the structural and tectonic history of the Maine Appalachians.

•Deployed wideband magnetotelluric instrumentation throughout Yellowstone National Park using innovative installation methods to investigate magmatic and hydrothermal processes in the mid to upper crust.•Used MARE2DEM inversion software to create two-dimensional resistivity models of the Yellowstone magmatic/hydrothermal system.•Presented results of this research as a poster presentation at the 2017 AGU Fall Meeting in New Orleans.

• Deployed and retrieved data loggers to measure long-term temperature stratification trends in high elevation ponds across Maine and New Hampshire.•Collected water quality data such as dissolved oxygen, secchi, and macroinvertebrate community composition. •Took the lead on an independent project utilizing ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online to investigate the impacts of a dam removal on a local stream.
