When it comes to digital strategy, I’ve got you covered. From my early years of taking apart (and rebuilding) everything in sight, to growing up on the internet in the 90s, to immersing myself in branding, marketing, and internet technologies, I’ve developed an eye for what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t. I was trained as a digital designer and digital artist, but the more I worked with marketing and business the more I realized that I had an aptitude for strategy and brand development. I sat in meeting after meeting where poor decisions were made that inevitably led to wasting time and resources, so several years ago I decided to step up. I couldn’t sit by and watch important decisions being made by people that couldn’t see the big picture anymore. As a Director at my most recent corporate employer, I was responsible for several very large, very expensive projects. I built a team of wonderful people and dove in head first. Massive new website? Check. Cool new mobile app? Check. Cross-channel digital content strategy that kept the focus on the customer and didn’t let the business get in the way of itself? Check. I was finally in my element. No longer was I just sitting at my computer slinging pixels and spitting out HTML, I was coordinating a dozen different business units, I was collaborating with and leading internal resources and external vendors - I was making everything work together. The best websites and mobile apps don’t live in a vacuum, they are part of the overall experience and message that you’re delivering. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in anymore, every company needs a digital presence and every digital presence needs someone at the helm. Someone like me.Specialties: Digital strategy, brand development, cross-channel marketing, graphic design, copywriting, leadership
