International Advisor to the Government of South Africa, i.e. national Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, and the city administrations of Cape Town, Johannesburg, eThekwini (Durban), Ekurhuleni and Sedibeng. With South Africa, following the transition from apartheid in 1994, a number of programmes was conducted with African organizations.
