About Bo Thor

In May 2019, I started employment with Zions Bancorporation as a Level 1 Service Desk Agent. At the time, I had no any professional IT workplace experience. Combining +20-years of personal IT support, a recently earned AAIT/CCNA, and my determination to expand my ability, I quickly built a foundation for enterprise technology support. I earned early access into multiple level two and three systems (such as ServiceNow Knowledgebase contributor & editor, Aruba’s ClearPass Policy Manager, and Microsoft Azure & Exchange). During my first six months, I achieved a 99.5% customer satisfaction rating, which speaks to the level of service that I provide to my clients. I averaged +30 hours per month in voluntary overtime, which shows that I’m here to support. During the COVID pandemic, I increased my hours even further and focused on assisting clients with VPN, personal computer, and home network issues. During my past year, I’ve been a loyal, resourceful, and valuable IT technician: a formidable Level 1 Service Desk Agent. My plan was to excel in this position while growing my enterprise administration knowledge & skillsets, pursing some external certifications, then moving on to a greater role within the company. Unfortunately, in late 2019, it was determined that my department would shift to overseas staffing. As of July 10, 2020, my time with Zions Bancorporation came to an end.Due to my availability, I am actively looking for a new employer. I'm looking for a company that can recognize and reward my level of integrity, service, and determination. I'm keen to enter networking, but I am also interested in administration and security.
