I have been working at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam for 6 years now. In these years I have done many different projects. I am currently working as social media manager for the Blikopeners of the museum and I am working as a content creator and manager of the Tiktok of the museum. Mainly on Tiktok we have seen extreme growth in the last year, which brought us to the top 3 of musea on Tiktok in the Netherlands. Next to being creative, I am also trained to be a critical thinker. I am studying Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at the UvA. As an Honoursstudent I have completed extra courses and I am doing two minors; Anthropology at the UvA and Criminology at the UU. I have organized many extra activities for different committees within my study association and since this year also for the boardsportassociation D.E.R.M. (honoring my background in kitesurfing). I have designed the Almanak on InDesign and have done promotion on events. In summer I work as a volunteer for Ripstar in Spain, where I cook for big groups in a small kitchen team. I love being outside and combining work with my passion for surfing.

It’s great responsibility to be in charge of children during their camp week. I learned that safety is the most important thing to manage.During the day I teach the kids about surfing, the sea, the wind, safety and the lifestyle. Kitesurfing is a very exciting, but also a quite challenging sport that requires a lot of discipline. At the camps we balance a fun and relaxing lifestyle with pushing your boundaries and learning new things.
