I research the history and international relations of the modern Mashriq. I challenge the dominant frameworks for understanding the region by employing Middle East studies, Jewish studies, and political science. I aim to demarginalize the Middle East in public life by building connections between scholarship, activism, and education.At the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, I cultivate bonds between students and Jewish history. I differentiate our tours, activities, and resources to help students learn, explore, and inspire themselves.
