First, I am no longer a communications consultant. I am happily retired and doing other very important work on a volunteer basis. As a grateful heart transplant recipient I am doing what I can to help others who need transplants, have had them or are seriously ill with other life threatening diseases. I am the founder of Facebook's 4300 member transplant support group Organ Transplant Initiative and of Bob's Newheart blogs on Wordpress. To date I have posted over 260 columns on donation/transplantation and related issues ranging how eating disorders affect human organs to investigative reports on issues like "The High Cost of Prescription drugs.", These posts are read in over 100 countries and have been shared thousands of times.My hobbies are music, writing and woodwork. I play the harmonica and jam on occasion with some local jam groups and wife Robin. While I write blogs I am also penning two books, one a book of memories and the other a novel . Woodwork is my third love. I make many items among them is Jewelry boxes, and walking sticks (canes). I am happy and healthy.I am a native of Chisholm, Minnesota. Prior to retirement I worked as a broadcast journalist, Communications Director for Minnesota Governor Rudy Perpich and for 25 years as the founder and owner of the Aronson Partnership (later Aronson Communications Group) an international communication consulting and coaching firm. During that time I published two books for Amazon Kindle, "Beat the Press" offers assistance on how to use the news media as a marketing opportunity and, "How to Get Standing O" a book on how to make knock your socks off presentations.
