I spent over 20 years with Landmark Graphics / Halliburton dedicated to ensuring the end-users of ProMAX and SeisSpace were able to utilize the system most effectively and efficiently for their purposes. Since the introduction of the SeisSpace system, I was Landmark's primary trainer for the application, and took responsibility for updating and extending the entire SeisSpace training curriculum for more than a decade. I delivered training for BP, Statoil, Global Geophysical, Chevron, Ecopetrol, and many other oil and service companies around the world, including both standard and customized classes.My expertise ranges from basic QC processing, whether 2D, 3D, land or marine, through prestack depth imaging and full waveform inversion for high resolution imaging. I have significant prior experience in configuring and optimizing SeisSpace software installations.

Worked closely with Dr. Jamie Rector to develop processing workflows and analysis for characterizing rock properties from drillstring vibrations when drilling blast holes in mining operations. This is part of the Rhino technology offering from DataCloud: Know the Rock (TM).

As a product specialist in the R&D team, my focus was on workflow design, usability, software testing, documentation. I was also called upon to provide standard as well as customized training for the SeisSpace (ProMAX) seismic processing system. Some of the more interesting workflows were cross-spread gather processing, forward modeling and imaging, 5D interpolation and regularization.I created and maintained many of the sophisticated workflow tutorials that were included with the software distribution. My most recent assignment was making an effective, efficient and verifiable workflow for a sophisticated set of tools supporting Full Waveform Inversion. My primary role was providing email and telephone support for customers using the SeisSpace and ProMAX seismic processing systems, including tool use, workflow optimization and system configuration. I occasionally provided consulting services onsite, and took responsibility for maintaining and updating the SeisSpace training materials. During this period, I was the primary trainer for SeisSpace, delivering classes where and when requested around the world.Prior to this, I was assigned to the Asia-Pacific region providing presales technical consulting, training, system installation and configuration. My first several years at Landmark (pre-Halliburton) were in software testing, then presales consulting.Before joining Landmark, I spent a number of years processing all types of seismic data (2D, 3D, land and marine) with Geophysical Service Inc (subsequently acquired by Halliburton Geophysical Services) and Western Geophysical.
