Bob BeethamJust one year after leaving his position as Heat Treatment Director at Con Mech Heat Treatment to start his own business offering services as a Heat Treatment Consultant Bob is working closely with Eco Steel to create an innovative and exciting Heat Treatment Department. This turnkey project that is being built by Brisesco will provide a superior heat treatment service to the oil and gas industry.The brand new facility at Eco Steel will include 4 gas fired batch furnaces plus a water quench and polymer quench system and will continue to benefit from Bob's consultancy input once it is up and running.In addition Bob is now working internationally advising companies in both Europe and China. Whilst at ConMech Bob designed and developed a highly profitable, world class heat treatment department that included 9 gas fired batch furnaces, water and polymer quench systems, shot blasting and hardness testing facilities.Earlier in his career he worked at Expert Heat Treatment, Stillington (now Bodycote) where he worked with Vacuum Furnaces.As a result of developing and successfully implementing rigorous systems for quality and procedures Bob has a reputation throughout the industry for delivering a world class Heat Treatment product.Bob's management of the Con Mech plant and procedures ensured that the highest quality results were achieved and consequently several of the major oil and gas companies added Con mech Heat Treatment to their approved suppliers list and directed their sub contractors to use Con Mech Heat Treatment.Working closely with a variety of customers Bob has been involved in the research and development of a number of successful projects and is particularly skilled at using his extensive knowledge and experience in solving difficult problems.
