My vision for opening the Claymore Shop in 1966 was to provide the gentlemen of Metro Detroit with the finest in clothing - in terms of garments and advice. As a matter of fact, I was one of the first retailers to carry the goods of a young designer by the name of Ralph Lauren.The Claymore Shop is a rare breed of menswear store where you'll not only find exceptional merchandise from around the world; but also a professional staff dedicated to quality service.This is a place where you can invest wisely and tastefully in clothing for the long run. I'm in the store most days except summer Wednesdays when I'm on the boat. And Sundays when the entire staff takes a day to prepare for the next week.
