Develop/support applications for internal business areas including: Equity Portfolio Mgmt, Investment Rptng, Risk Mitigation, Investment Oversight (IOC) and Fund Board. Responsibilities included:• Develop/maintain systems for Risk Mitigation. Provide historical performance measurements, rankings and statistics of fund performance vs.peers/indexes. Tools utilized include: SAS, SAS Macros, SAS ODS, Unix, CShell, FTP, Java, DB2 and Spring. • Lead support for international portfolio mgrs/analysts in NY. Designed and developed customized solutions for investment processes unique to international investing. Customized desktop and web-based applications written in Java to interface with enterprise service points and consolidate vendor data. Main tools: Java, XML, JMS, Eclipse.Direct/Electronic Commerce Developed website called Fund Advisor to provide financial advice/investment recommendations to investors and potential investors. • Designed and developed Visual Basic desktop application to manage data feeds from various vendors. Summarize/analyze vendor data, calculated historical performance and stored into DB2 tables. • Developed portions of web-based application to capture investor profile information as part of the Fund Advisor application. Tools included: Java, JavaScript, SQL, COBOLDeveloped web-based application to capture shareholder information when setting up new mutual fund accounts. Application would also auto print this information in format to be scanned into DST’s account setup system.Shareholder Redevelopment Project lead for Priority Investor program. This identified and tracked high net-worth investors. Designed and developed CICS and batch applications for account service functions. Tools included COBOL, JCL, IEF, VisualAge C++.

Developed/Enhanced Integrated Work Distributor (IWS) system that assisted call center personnel with routing/balancing customer transactions to correct work groups/people. Initially worked on backend mainframe COBOL transactions and then moved to development/enhancement of website using C++.

Provided programming enhancements and support for pilot and flight attendant scheduling system
