About Bob Blais

I teach cello and bass, am the Artistic Director of the Green Mountain Youth Symphony, and I conduct festivals throughout the Northeast and into Quebec. I specialize in encouraging rigor while maintaining a fun atmosphere. As a cellist, I've performed as a soloist with the Holyoke Symphony, the Melrose Symphony Orchestra, the Guilford Festival Orchestra, and the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, as well as playing as a freelance orchestral and chamber music cellist in Boston and New York.
