I have a wide range of skills covering Security, Operating Systems, Networking, Web Technologies, Scripting, Databases, Project Management and the Microsoft Office Suite.I enjoy solving problems using technology in creative ways that are stable, scalable and maintainable. I believe security should be simple in design and easy to use by the client.People that I work with call me “intense” but they enjoy the energy that I bring to a project. One of my mottos is “work hard and play hard”. Another phrase that describes me is “a geek with people skills.” I work on complex technologies but I also have the ability to explain them to non-technical clients.I enjoy building teams by identifying and interviewing prospective candidates. I also love to mentor colleagues who want to grow in their technical and professional roles. As I teach, encourage and coach them, I gain much satisfaction from watching them succeed.Even though I work extremely hard at the office, I am a “family man” and strive to keep a good work-life balance.
