Bob Bowes is the general manager of MSI International-Grand Rapids. In addition to building the Grand Rapids operation, Bob recruits high-level accounting/finance and business valuation professionals and professional service firm business developers. Since he started his executive search career in 1978, his award-winning sales expertise and search capabilities have positively impacted hundreds of hiring organizations and thousands of candidates. He firmly believes in open communication and the “win/win” philosophy when dealing with his clients and candidates. Bob began at Sales Consultants of Chicago, an MRI affiliate, where he was in the top 10% of all search executives. He was promoted through various levels of management and named general manager of Chicago operations, overseeing two of MRI’s most successful offices. Bob then established a search firm in Grand Rapids, Mich., focused on providing retained search services for executive-level positions in small- to medium-sized manufacturing companies throughout the Midwest. He returned to MRI, now MRINetwork, as regional vice president of the company office division at the request of the corporation’s CEO. He supervised the general managers of 12 offices throughout the United States and Mexico. When MRINetwork became 100% franchised in 2002, Bob was named VP of Eastern Operations.
