Contract position of Business Manager for the U.S. Senate IT Services Contract with the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms providing IT goods and services for the U.S. Senate. As Business Manager for this $40M annual spend contract I was responsible for the acquisition of any requested IT hardware items and software supporting the offices of the U.S. senators for both D.C. and their state offices. Managed a group of 8 personnel responsible for the ordering, tracking, configuration management, and delivery of requested services to the senator's offices. GDIT was the only successful contractor in the 13+ years prior and successfully implemented processes to achieve 98% SLAs and win the re-compete for a continuous 10 year span. Unique approach to supplier sourcing was the key to meeting the very stringent SLAs.
