• HERE is a ~$1B mapping and location services business, acquired from Nokia in December 2015 by a consortium of German automakers (Audi, BMW, Daimler). • As Divisional CFO under Nokia, responsible for 120+ employee finance and accounting organization, with operations spanning 90+ entities in 60+ countries. Member of the HERE Leadership Team, reporting solid-line to HERE’s President, and dotted line to Nokia’s CFO. • Owned all financial aspects of HERE’s successful ~$3B divestiture from Nokia, including setup of new treasury, tax, and audit functions.• Drove new growth strategies transforming the business from a provider of digital map content to a broader role as a cloud-based location services company. Significantly restructured legacy cost base to enable new, transformational investments. • Held positions of increasing responsibility from 2002-11 at this leading provider of digital map content during rapid growth stage (from ~$100M in 2001). Nokia acquired NAVTEQ in 2008, where it later became HERE. NAVTEQ’s 2004 IPO of $880M is still the largest of Illinois’ tech/internet sectors, and was followed in ‘05 by a $1.3B secondary offering. • Drove the company’s consolidated financial planning and analysis function, reporting to NAVTEQ’s CFO. Promoted to VP in 2010 with additional responsibilities for procurement and internal audit functions.• Led development of business cases instrumental to setting strategic direction under Nokia. Managed and continually enhanced the NAVTEQ long-range financial model. • Implemented a Hyperion planning and reporting solution to replace previous spreadsheet-based tools that yielded significant improvements to efficiency, accuracy, and insight. • Increased procurement focus on cost efficiency and reduced time spent on low-value activities, in part by establishing a low cost purchasing capability in India.

• Drove the company’s financial planning processes and provided consolidated financial reporting and analysis to NAVTEQ senior management.• Following the 2008 acquisition of NAVTEQ by Nokia, led financial planning and reporting integration between the two companies, and served as the primary financial liaison to Nokia.
