My first work experience was for the Bernie Sanders campaign where I was a Grassroots Team Leader. During that time I recruited and trained small event hosts for the campaign. My volunteer work helped me earn a position as a delegate to the DNC to represent votes for Sanders.My experience on that campaign helped me get a position as an intern on Salud Carbajal's congressional campaign. During my time there I campaigned door to door and at campaign phone banks. After the campaign season was over in November I took a break from work to focus on academics at the University of Oregon, where I made the Deans list as a first year student.While in school at the U of O I worked as an ubereats driver but school was my number one priority.After graduating with a degree in economics I got a job delivering calzones for a local restaurant. Shorty after starting there I was promoted to a leadership position because of my strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and outstanding performance.
