About Bob Carpenter
I am the CEO of The United Craftsmen Children's Shoe Drive, Inc. I am passionate about growing my charity. We bring children who are growing up in the USA without parents to the Shoe Carnival and they select their own new shoes and socks then we host them for lunch together. We started out very small with only being able to help about 23 children in 2009. We have since grown. We became incorporated and obtained our 501 (C) 3 status in 2012. In 2018, that number grew to 544 Children in GA, AL, FL and OK. Our 100% volunteer network has boosted our growth and we welcome you to join us in our efforts to "put shoes on those babies' feet". CeoThe United Craftsmen Children'S Shoe Drive, Inc. Sep 2009 - PresentI serve as the CEO of The United Craftsmen Children's Shoe Drive, Inc. We are a Federally Recognized 501 (C) 3 Non-Profit Charity incorporated in the State of Georgia and registered in the District of Columbia and the 41 States that require Charities to register. Our goal is simple: Show the children of the USA that are growing up without parents that they are loved and cared for by the Skilled Craftsmen of this country. We do this by inviting children who live in Children's Homes or Impoverished Conditions to come out to The Shoe Carnival and select new shoes and socks and then host them for lunch. We have grown from 23 Children in Georgia in 2009 to 544 Children in GA, AL, FL, OK in 2018. We are 100% volunteer with no paid staff and no travel reimbursements. Every dollar goes to help us "put shoes on those babies' feet".
