I have been in trucking my entire career. I was born into it (Culy Transportation), married into it (BHY Transportation), but I have always loved it. I started driving for my family's business while I was still in high school. They owned a Van - Regular route carrier. After I returned from my hitch in the Marines I started right where I left off. This time I drove on the side and worked dispatch. By the time I was married in 1978 I was their full time and only dispatcher. When opportunity presented itself to move to Southern CA I transferred with a position with BHY working for my father-in-law and learned heavy-haul. When he sold the business I was hooked and never wanted to go back to box trailers. From there I learned rigging and erecting from Gold Coast and have been honing one skill at a time. I enjoy working along side the guys in the field as well and working in the office. I have managed crews and i am good at rating, billing, brokering and safety as well as ordering permits direct and through a service and I understand all the rules and regulations that go along with permit loads. I like the complexity and the grace of move a big load down the road. Now I am just looking for that next adventure and company that can use and respect the experience that I have worked hard to achieve.
