This new quest was the result of something I loved doing, natural creativity and the support of family and friends. Over the past decade my intent was to accomplish more writings, yet my responsibilities in long-term care continuously evolved and that became priority one. In fact that is the sole reason for my career change, wanting to fulfill my longtime promise of writing. Despite being secondary until recent, writing is something I always enjoy committing to as time allowed. Writings include: an annual holiday story, a published (Boston history) book, a second book in production and freelance submissions. Now with pen in hand I embark on this new career, and I am totally commitment to writing. Customer focused, goal oriented, result driven and hardworking are amont the qualities I commit to every job. Plan, coordinate and execute daily activity programs. Hire, train, schedule and mentor staff and volunteers. Handle all departmental related paperwork, including: admission, care plans, resident progress notes purchasing, hiring entertainment and coordinating in-house special events.

Wakefield, Ma

Plans and administers both group and individual social activities, outings, spiritual programs and creative, artistic activities. Encourages resident participation in activities and procures the necessary equipment. Develops and maintain all activity departmental documentation relating to: resident participation, care planning, budgeting and facility related records.

Medford, Ma

Overseen activity staff and volunteers. Planned, delivered and evaluated resident activities. Planned monthly activity calendar, community events and ongoing facility themes. Worked with otehr members of the management team in resident assessment, care planing and discharge meeting. .
