A seasoned industry veteran, Bob spent 27 years at Cushman & Wakefield, specializing in warehouse/distribution facility leasing and sales. Bob has assisted numerous high-profile clients with their industrial real estate needs. Select clients include Tower Automotive, Borg Warner, Syncreon, Eby-Brown, KC Logistics and Evans Distribution. In 2013, he achieved the Costar Power Broker Status by leasing and selling over 1,200,000 square feet of warehouse/distribution space.Governor Snyder nominated Bob to membership of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Committee to develop policy for logistics and global supply chain for the State of Michigan. He is also a member of the Executive Board of The Great Lakes Global Freight Gateway. Both of these organizations are dedicated to promote the future of intermodal and warehouse/distribution business in the State of Michigan.In his spare time, Bob has enjoyed promoting inboard hydroplane boat racing. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Oakland County Community Club that has raised more than $100,000 for the Rainbow Connection, a make-a-wish organization for children with serious afflictions. He has also received a special tribute from Governor Snyder for his efforts with the “Quake on the Lake”, an annual boat racing event for the benefit of the Rainbow Connection. In 2014, Bob was recognized for his 40 years of service with the operating portion of the annual running of the Gold Cup Unlimited Hydroplane Race on the Detroit River, and he will be volunteering his time on August 22nd and 23rd for this years event.
