He established and expanded Flipdaddy’s brand to 5 locations in 3 states, generated $8,900,000 in annual sales, and employed 350 associates. He sold the business in 2018. Flipdaddy’s core concept focused on premium quality burgers, a large selection of craft beer, excellent service, and a cool atmosphere. Bob developed the menu, employee handbook, marketing plan, policies, service standards, operations systems, accounting procedures, vendor negotiations, and corporate culture. He determined site selection, assembled the architect and construction team, and negotiated the lease. Bob opened ALTO Pizza Kitchen & Bar in 2018. He developed and implemented the brand and logo. Bob put together a team to make it happen: interior designer, GC, equipment, and furniture supplier, POS system, human resources professionals, bankers, lawyers, social media strategy, and everything else involved in opening a restaurant and bar.
