I am the manager of TenantTracks, a tenant screening service in Connecticut that uses superior data and advanced logic to locate eviction and criminal matches that the National Screening companies miss. I also manage the CT Property Owners Alliance and had been active in legislative matters at the CT General Assembly from 1997 defending private property rights. The advocacy work in the Legislature has produced a number of success with 9 Bills being signed into law including; the Wooden Window Replacement Program, Smart Codes, Revolving low-interest loan fund, Urban Revitalization Pilot Program, Equalizing Security Deposits Interest, Eviction Reform, requiring a Fair Housing Disclosure to be provided at closing on multi-family properties and modifying the Sprinkler System lease disclosure for properties not required by code to have a fire suppression system..I started my real estate career in 1982 as a property manager and in 1989 I became a real estate broker. Since 1983, I have acquired, managed or renovated several hundred units of rental properties. My niche is identifying "Valued Added Properties" for development and I was responsible for both construction management and the subsequent property management of the finished buildings. My responsibilities included day to day management of my two companies including software development, public policy advocacy and overseeing our database development and marketing outreach.Today, I spend most of my energy trying to protect investment property owners from the agenda from the far left that will hurt both good tenants and good landlords alike.
