Chief Executive OfficerPharmacy First Oct 2013 - Aug 2022Overland Park KansasWith pharmacies in the US and Peurto Rico, Pharmacy First is the largest independent Pharmacy Services Administration Organization (PSAO) in the United States. In order to revitalize existing products and services while expanding the portfolio with new offerings I launched several new products and services to address the critical needs surrounding Pharmacy Credentialing, Auditing, Quality, and CMS Star ratings. These programs now generate an additional $2 million dollars in annual revenue. Worked with the contract management team to negotiate with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM’s) to achieve a 100% success rate in enhancing contracts. Improved internal processes and workflows for pharmacy due-diligence, enrollments, terminations and customer service help desk operations. Developed new tools for central payment risk management reducing write offs by 52%. Worked with sales and marketing to consolidate brand messaging in order to better communicate the value our products and services resulting in increased enrollment and revenue per pharmacy.

Principal architect for LibraRx, a reconciliation system to validate Third Party reimbursements for independent pharmacies. Since inception this system has experienced consistent growth year over year and currently reconciles over $4.5 billion dollars annually for participating members. Implemented a HIPAA compliant data warehouse and ETL processes to collect and scrub over 100 million claims each quarter for rebate processing, reconciliation, and other revenue generating programs. We created and continually enhance the capabilities of our help desk and customer service applications (CRM) and developed multi-channel (web, mobile, SaaS) communication platforms to support patient Compliance, Pharmacy Chain Management, and Affiliate partner programs.

This application employed distributed technologies to create an online end-to-end collaboration work space. As principal architect provided leadership to a core team of software engineers, analysts and sub contractors in a technology environment that included JAVA, EAServer, XML, JSP, ASA, XSL, VisualBasic, ASP, PowerDesigner and Powerbuilder. Conducted product demonstrations to potential clients and investors ultimately landing a contract to support the default loan process for a local appraisal company. The IVL framework integrated the sales force and technical teams to eliminate problems with project bids while significantly improving delivery times.
