At ACDi, my primary role is to help customers with their products' engineering needs, which could range from reverse engineering, obsolescense management, transition to production, or test plan development. Design deployable LTE Band 14 (FirstNet) solutions for Public Safety Agencies. This includes choosing the appropriate RAN, and evaluating backhaul requirements (microwave, satellite, or fiber). I also manage the supply chain of the vehicle and trailer suppliers and integrators to design the appropriate SOW, COW, or Communications Command Center to house the Public Safety Band 14 solution.

Wrote technical proposal and developed project plan for a next generation tactical headset. As with most small companies, also performed several parallel tasks. This included test procedure development; supply chain evaluation, training, and quality checks; legacy product support and failure analysis

Developed and presented overviews for companies LMR product line (Thales 25 VHF radio and Liberty multiband radio). Provided in-depth details and training for interested customers. Used my technical background to define and document feature set for Liberty radio, and worked with engineers to develop properly. Managed getting the Liberty acceptance on several trunked systems, which included programming radio, testing and demonstrating radio on various trunked systems. Travel was well over 50%/

As Project Engineer, developed and brought to production the Thales 25 VHF LMR radio. Led a team of engineers to develop and enhance the Thales 25 radio. Previously, worked on tactical radios as a senior design engineer, and helped develop testing methods. Traveled to customer sites to perform training, fault analysis, and to further develop feature set for the Thales 25 radio.

Worked on Scan Where You Band airmail system. Involved design and test with bar code scanners and printers, scales, and conveyor systems. Installed and evaluated pilot systems at various locations across the USA.

Wrote automated test software and test procedures for company Scope Shield II product line. Reduced test time from over 4 hours per units to 15 minutes and designed tests to detect common failures early in test. Evaluated failures to suggest better designs.
