As a Senior Systems Architect Quantum Technology at TNO, I apply my combined knowledge of the fundamental scientific principles behind different high-tech systems, the structured and effective work approach of systems engineering, and strong communication skills to lead and contribute to space-based and free-space quantum communication projects.I am also the founder of BQB, a company that aims to provide quantum communication solutions for the emerging quantum internet. Additionally, I serve as an external advisor to the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) via RHEA Group, where I share my expertise and insights on quantum technology and its applications. My goal is to advance the field of quantum technology and enable a worldwide quantum communication network using satellites and ground networks. I am passionate about working in the early phases of cutting-edge technology projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and popularizing science and technology. I speak Dutch (native), English, and French, and I have a good level of German.
