I also direct and manage the day-to-day activities of RIA, the leading trade association for the robotics industry in North America with over 570 member companies. Played a lead role in launching the association’s A3 Mexico operations, growing the organization's reach internationally, and manage the growth strategy in Mexico.The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) is the umbrella trade association for the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), AIA - the Association for Advancing Vision + Imaging, the Motion Control & Motor Association (MCMA), and A3 Mexico. A3 is the global advocate for the benefits of automating in every market space. We promote automation technologies and ideas that transform the way business is done. A3 currently represents over 1,250 companies involved in automation from more than 32 nations. In addition to trade shows and accompanying technical conferences, the groups develop industry standards, hold industry networking events, collect market statistics, offer educational resources, and provide content-rich websites

South Oakland Shelter (SOS) provides temporary lodging and supportive services that help homeless individuals and families break the cycle of homelessness, and live independently. With an emphasis on homeless prevention, sustainable housing solutions, and career development, SOS implements strategies and programs that provide realistic options for homeless and at-risk individuals and families seeking stabilization and self-sufficiency.

• Drive all internal/external communications and marketing programs at EQ, a privately held environmental services organization with 28 locations and 1000 employees.• Lead communicator and spokesperson to media, local government officials, non-governmental organizations and community residents at all EQ facilities across the country. • Develop and coordinate annual corporate strategic marketing communications plan. Actively measure results coinciding with business objectives. • Write and edit press releases, company reports, internal/external newsletters, executive management communications and website information.• Team leader for new products/services development, business proposals and presentations.• Perform market research for future business growth, including mergers and acquisitions.
